Community Connect - Beach Cleaning
The NDI Community Connect team has launched a noteworthy initiative called "Clean Beach - Leave No Trace," aimed at preserving the beauty of our beaches. The team successfully implemented this initiative on two occasions, on 23rd November 2022 and 10th February 2023, at Puthenthope Beach in Trivandrum. Thanks to the team's dedication and hard work, they were able to restore the beach's pristine appearance and create a clean and inviting environment for cherish.
Nissan Digital India conducts the Ideathon and hackathons, such events provides excellent opportunity to all employees in IS/IT to brainstorm and create innovative solutions. The last such event was conducted in November 2022, where 51 high impact business facing ideas were developed.
This event was a great platform for our talented professionals to showcase their innovations, skills and creativity while contributing to the success of Nissan Business. The impressive response to this event highlights the enthusiasm and dedication of the participants towards developing actionable plans and compelling stories for impactful solutions
Campus Connect Program launched@Nissan Digital India LLP
His Excellency, Mr. Taga Masayuki, Consul General of Japan, visited the Nissan Digital
India on 12th November 2022 as a part of Campus Connect Program launch. He launched the
Campus Connect Program with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological university in presence of
Syndicate members, Heads of Engineering institutions, placement officers, industry
associations and Media Fraternity
Nissan Digital India will work with the A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technology University and
its affiliated technology and engineering institutes in Kerala to develop industry
elective programs, hire early talent, as well as support the academia fraternity
with industrial domain expertise, internships and academic projects.

Voluntary blood donation camp held at Nissan Digital
Nissan Digital India organized a blood donation drive on the 27th June 2022 in Technopark campus and the drive helped to create awareness about the need for regular non-remunerated voluntary blood donations. There were 48 registrations, and 22 members were able to donate their blood
Nissan Digital India inauguration
Nissan Digital is a centre for innovation and ingenuity, that would deliver new ways of working with modern technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and others. On December 10, 2018, Nissan Digital India, the support hub for Nissan’s digital transformation was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan in the Technopark Campus in Thiruvananthapuram in India. The guests of honour were Mr. K J Alphons, Member of Parliament, Mr. Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament and the Japanese Ambassador to India, His Excellency Mr. Kenji Hiramatsu.
Kerala flood relief
Support was provided by Nissan Digital India for school students in rural areas of Kerala badly affected by the floods of 2020. Around 1000 children were provided with lunch boxes and clothes. The schools included in the flood relief efforts were picked from the most flood-affected rural villages of Kerala.
Nissan India also announced comprehensive service support to Nissan and Datsun customers in Kerala by setting up emergency repair teams and sending trained technicians from nearby states also. A sum of 70 million was contributed by Nissan Motor Corporation to the relief fund for flood recovery efforts.
In the first week of July 2023, Matoba Yasunobu, Nissan Global CVP & CIO, and Mr. Masunaga Daisuke, VP, IS/IT Strategy Planning and Control visited NDI. They were accompanied by Hirakawa Shizuka, Divisional GM – Business System Solution Division, Shigeyuki Kitamura, GM – HR, Sakakibara Koichiro, DGM and Hirata Yuichi, Sr. Manager – Strategy Planning & Control Office, NML.
This visit presented an excellent opportunity for the NDI Team to showcase our organization's capabilities, dedication to excellence, value-addition and commitment to innovation.
During the visit, Mr. Yasunobu and Mr. Daisuke engaged in deep interactions with the Team at the GEMBA. The Delivery and COE Teams demonstrated the innovations and value-add over the years and future roadmap. These interactions helped demonstrate NDI’s remarkable talent, project agility, and innovative programs as well as the measures taken to foster a strong and committed workforce. Our exemplary Global Employee Survey results for FY22 is a true reflection of the team building efforts undertaken at NDI.
The NML Leaders also met our “Young Talent”, technology and domain leaders to get a first-hand view of the key talent and capability for building a strong future organization.
Additionally, our esteemed Leaders met the team members of Super Woman At Nissan (SW@N) who showcased a wide range of employee and community initiatives that they are leading over the years and the future programs planned.
A game of Cricket and Football with a spirited participation from the leaders and NDI employees was a memorable experience and truly team building experience.
Overall, the visit helped reinforce NDI Team’s resolve to leverage strong capability and catalyze digital transformation to support the Ambition 2030 mission of Nissan.
Blood donation drive
On the occasion of World blood donor Day 2023, Nissan Digital India LLP, in association with the renowned Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, and the philanthropic NGO Tejus India, proudly organized a life-saving Blood Donation Drive at their premises in Technopark, Trivandrum. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from employees and volunteers who gathered to support this noble cause.
The Blood Donation Drive took place on the ground floor of the Yamuna building in Technopark Phase 3, Trivandrum, from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and its crucial role in saving lives.
With a remarkable count of 62 individuals expressing their willingness to donate blood, the event was an outstanding success. Among the participants, 29 donors were from Nissan Digital India LLP, showcasing the company's commitment to giving back to the community and contributing to the well-being of society.
Nissan Digital India LLP plans to continue supporting such noble causes in the future and thanks the volunteers who made this event a grand success.
Nissan Digital India, Celebrated Onam at Yamuna office on 1st September 2022. It was fun-filled event, and everyone made the Onam celebrations, a memorable event, cherishing their bond and togetherness of a family.
Nissan Digital India participated at the IEEE TENCON19, which attracted around 1700 participants from the Asia Pacific region. The idea that served as a prime mover was “intelligent mobility”. And what better way to showcase this than with the best selling electric vehicle in Europe, the Nissan Leaf at their private booth in a vehicle2home (V2H) campaign!
Nissan Digital India also engaged with the audience through a curated hackathon, in partnership with HackerEarth, at TENCON 2019 called Solution Ninja. Around 100 engineers participated on the innovative platform where their skills in Java, Angular, Python, general programming and mathematics were put to the test.
Tarun Kumar, CISO - Nissan Digital India and Cybersecurity Expert also moderated the session on “New Age Cyber Attacks - Strategies to Mitigate and Remediate Them”.
On the second day, Bruno Grippay, the Regional Director of Customer Experience for the Nissan AMI Region, spoke on the “Role of Connected Cars in the Mobility Revolution”.
On the last day, Tony Thomas, the CVP and CIO of Nissan Motor Corp. delivered the keynote and spoke on “Sustainability with Digital Transformation”.
