    Work Hours

    Basic working hours are set at 8 hours per day, determined according to the work regulations (*60-minute break).
    Overtime work is available.

    Holidays and Leave

    The company observes a two-day weekend system (*based on the company calendar, 5 to 8 days per month), with a total of 121 holidays annually, including approximately 9 days of summer holidays, about 9 days of New Year holidays, Golden Week, and others.
    Additional leave includes 17-20 days of annual paid leave
    (granted based on length of service), milestone leave, bereavement leave, memorial service leave, maternity/paternity leave, menstrual leave, expatriate leave, and more.

    Sick leave, parental leave, caregiving leave, childbirth support leave
    (for infertility treatment). FY2024: Male parental leave uptake rate: 65.5%

  • Allowances

    Allowances

    Family allowance, housing subsidy, commuting allowance, overtime allowance, remote work allowance, and others are provided according to employee wage regulations.

    Super Flex Work System
    (No core hours)Depending on the office/workplace

    Employees can select their start and end times within the range of the flexible hours (6:00–22:00) so that monthly working hours meet the prescribed hours.
    Work outside the flexible hours is considered as fixed overtime.

    Remote Work System (with remote work allowance)

    To promote efficient and productive work styles that support employees’ health, work-life balance, and well-being, a remote work system is available for employees who meet certain conditions.

    Various Leave Systems

    Family support leave (15 days/year), life support leave (5 days/year), bereavement leave,
    memorial service leave, maternity/paternity leave,
    milestone leave, menstrual leave, etc.

    Shortened Working Hours System

    Eligible for: Child-rearing until the end of elementary school (6th grade), caregiving for relatives within second degree of kinship, and pregnant women.

    Baby Sitter Subsidy System

    Employees who use babysitter services for work purposes are eligible for partial discounts on the service fees.
    Eligible employees: Those with children up to 3rd grade elementary school.

    On-site Nursery "Maachiland"

    Nissan has dedicated childcare centers at four locations
    (Yokohama, Atsugi, Oppama, and Minato Mirai).
    These facilities are available for employees to use, supporting their smooth return to work and ongoing employment.
