Chapter 01:Why I Joined Nissan

From Parts Sales to the Front Lines
of Vehicle Manufacturing
— Driven by a Spirit of Challenge

I used to work in technical sales at a parts manufacturer, where my role was to determine optimal specifications by listening carefully to customer requests. Over time, I developed a desire to make a greater impact on society, which drew me toward working on the manufacturing of complete vehicles.

At that moment, Nissan felt like the ideal place where I could turn my motivation into action. I was attracted by its environment that fosters challenges and the realization of ideas. Now, from the vehicle development stage, I feel the joy of seeing my ideas and efforts positively influence cars and the environment. Nissan is a place where people from diverse backgrounds can take on challenges, and its corporate culture that values “motivation” and “challenge spirit” is very appealing to me.

Chapter 02:My Role and Responsibilities

Work of the packaging innovator
- It connects the parts of the world
and supports the ideal car.

I am in charge of the packaging specification design of the parts for one car. We want to carry parts from all over the world more efficiently. In order to achieve this, ideas are accumulated on a daily basis, and transport costs and environmental impact are reduced by reviewing the shape and packaging method.

In addition, by being involved in vehicle development, we can improve the shape of parts and packaging methods and directly contribute to vehicle manufacturing. I ’ m very happy and motivated when my ideas are actually reflected in the car.

Chapter 03:Career Growth

Each Person’s Ingenuity Shapes the Future
- Nissan’s “Freedom” and “Responsibility”

What I find most attractive about Nissan is its culture of empowering individuals with discretion and responsibility. Small innovations or ideas can lead to significant reductions in environmental impact and costs. For example, reducing packaging material by just 500 grams could save 50 tons annually across 100,000 units, contributing to sustainability.

There are many opportunities to propose improvements, such as system development, specification adjustments, and parts shape optimization. Being able to turn my ideas into tangible results makes my work both enjoyable and fulfilling. Working at Nissan allows me to see how my efforts and ideas can have a positive impact on society and the environment.

Chapter 04:My Future Aspirations

Supporting Next-Generation Vehicles
as a Supply Chain Challenger

Going forward, I want to deepen my expertise in supply chain management (SCM) and contribute to future manufacturing innovations. In particular, I aim to accelerate manufacturing by digitizing analog parts, promoting efficiency, and strengthening collaboration with factories and suppliers through overall optimal business design and system implementation.

Nissan’s workplace is open and welcoming, fostering a positive environment where passionate people can thrive. If you have a desire to create something good, Nissan is the perfect place to work happily while growing professionally. Every day, I am inspired by colleagues who are dedicated to making high-quality cars through collaboration across departments.

If you’re not afraid to take on challenges and actively share your ideas and opinions, you will surely gain valuable experience and develop greatly. Let’s work together to create cars that will truly impact society!
