Previously, I was working at the auto parts supplier and was responsible for Nissan. Being exposed daily to Nissan’s commitment to quality, its global outlook, and its open, forward-looking corporate culture, I developed a strong desire to work for the company someday. Working in the automotive industry has been a long-standing dream, and my decision to change jobs was driven by the desire to leverage the experience I gained as a Nissan supplier and to join as a colleague.

Nissan fosters a culture of openness where opinions can be freely exchanged regardless of age or position. I was attracted to an environment where I could continue to grow by making full use of my knowledge, which Ultimately led me to decide to join Nissan.

Chapter 02:My Role and Responsibilities

Work that Builds Trust with Speed and Reliability
“The Power of Field Operations in the Supply Chain”

Currently, I am responsible for procuring repair parts and dealer option parts, and I also serve as a team leader involved in department operations. Our goal is to maintain and enhance a fast, reliable procurement system that delivers parts promptly to customers needing repairs and to new car buyers without delay.

As a “behind-the-scenes” supporter of customer peace of mind and satisfaction, I am committed to continuously improving our service quality. While making the most of my understanding of the field, I strive to deliver trustworthy work that makes a real difference.

Chapter 03:Career Growth

A Place Where New Ideas Are Valued

For example, in my work, I faced a challenge where, due to a sudden drop in sales, the conventional procurement lead times meant parts would not arrive in time for customer delivery. To address this, we closely collaborated with suppliers to review processes and adjust priorities, successfully shortening lead times and ensuring timely delivery.

From this experience, I realized the importance of demand forecast accuracy. I analyzed past sales data and explored new forecasting methods, with strong support from my team and supervisor. This led to a more stable supply system and higher customer satisfaction.

At Nissan, a culture that welcomes new ideas and proposals is deeply rooted. Interacting with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and perspectives directly contributes to organizational growth. Being able to shape your own ideas and see them implemented is one of the great rewards of working here.

Looking ahead, I want to strengthen our supply chain in the aftersales field. By leveraging my on-site perspective, problem-solving skills, and manufacturing experience, I aim to demonstrate the unique value I can offer. I also want to work collaboratively with partners to build a more resilient and trustworthy supply system.

After-sales work plays a vital role in ensuring customer safety and satisfaction. I find great motivation in tackling daily challenges and overcoming them. Knowledge and skills are acquired gradually, but what truly matters is the desire to help others and a positive attitude toward continuous learning.
